RSVP overview
When you RSVP to a ride, it helps Ride Leaders and fellow riders plan and stay informed. There are three key RSVP options you can use in the Bunchrides app:
Going
Selecting “Going” lets the Ride Leader and other riders know you’ll be joining the ride. It’s a great way to confirm your attendance and helps with planning group size and pacing.
Not going
If you’ve previously RSVP’d as “Going” but can no longer attend, please update your status to “Not going.”
This is important because:
-
It immediately lets others know you won’t be attending.
-
It helps the Ride Leader plan for the expected number of participants.
-
Many riders decide to join the night before or morning of the ride — marking “Not going” gives clarity ahead of time.
Even if you’re a regular rider, updating your RSVP helps everyone stay informed and keeps rides running smoothly.
Joining a ride (Interested)
When you Join a ride, it’s similar to marking yourself as “Interested” in a Facebook event.
Recurring rides take place at the same time and day each week, so joining a ride means you’ll stay connected and have the option to attend whenever it suits you — without needing to rejoin each time.
